I was disappointed the actual bonus numbers each resource provides weren't in the Civilopedia. Since the bonus numbers also don't show up on the terrain rollover unless you've got the required tech, I thought it would be useful to have a list. Here's what I've got so far:

  • Aluminum +4 Hammers (requires Mass Production)
  • Cattle +3 Food (requires Code of Laws)
  • Coal +3 Hammers (requires Steam Power)
  • Dye +3 Trade (requires Monarchy)
  • Fish +2 Food (requires Bronze Working)
  • Game +3 Food (requires Feudalism)
  • Gems ??? (no tech required)
  • Gold ??? (requires Currency)
  • Incense +2 Culture (requires Ceremonial Burial)
  • Iron +2 Hammers (requires Iron Working)
  • Marble +2 Hammers (requires Masonry)
  • Oak +3 Hammers (requires Construction)
  • Oil +4 Hammers (requires Combustion)
  • Oxen ??? (requires Horseback Riding)
  • Rubber ??? (requires Automobile)
  • Silk +3 Culture (requires Literacy)
  • Spice +2 Trade (no tech required)
  • Sulfur +3 Hammers (requires Gunpowder)
  • Uranium ??? (requires Nuclear Power)
  • Whale +4 Food (requires Navigation)
  • Wheat +2 Food (requires Irrigation)
  • Wine +2 Trade (requires Pottery)
Your actual yield may be lower, as you are limited to a maximum bonus of +2 while in Ancient Era and +3 while in Medieval Era (see manual page 14).

Hi ydejin, nice list - thank you.

I thought I'd help out and think in the blanks for anyone interested :goodjob:

  • Gems +2 Trade (no tech required)
  • Gold +3 Trade (requires Currency)
  • Oxen +2 Hammers (requires Horseback Riding)
  • Rubber +4 Hammers (requires Automobile)

I'm unsure of Uranium too, I don't recall ever using it in Revolutions, maybe its because it only appears so late on? Although going on Civilopedia its mountain-based.
