We pick up Republic. I order that our people descend into anarchy while we start currency. We are now a nation of whiny jerks. Madrid riots; other cities riots are headed off, not that it much matters.
Battle for Pharsalos – cats go 1/6 and harm a single hoplite to 2/3. Its time for our swords to earn their pay. 13/13 GSA vs 3/3 hoplite – a cat defensive take a point and then the hoplite takes us to 9/13. 9/13 GSA vs 2/3 hoplite – win, down to 7/13 and capture city, cat & 2 workers. 5 resisters. Start a worker. Greek cat fires on retreating archer and misses. 5/5 AC vs 3/3 archer – clean kill.

Start Feud, even at 10% science we are at -33gpt. I rush a settler at Seville for 72gp so we can drop the lux rate.

As a reminder, now that we are war with the Babylonians, China is up next followed by the Mayans.
We have a settler over by the last two destroyed Greek cities to fill in some land. The Dutch have a curragh mapping the old Greek coast. Cats are in route to the battle front but with all the hills it will be hard for them to get into action.
We are trailing in techs but we now have twice the number of cities of the next largest civ and we still have room to grow into our newly conquered territory if the AI doesn’t beat us to it. Our armies are making short work of city defenders. Conquering the babs will also give us gems and wine.
