Abandon city option not working in MP mode

Just a report: if you try to abandon a city in a MP Game, (I am not hosting the game), even though I get the message the City will be abandonned in the next turn, the city stays along... I sometimes have to try it 4 turns in a row untill the city finally disapears....
might be a minor bug, but it can be a real pain, and if it 's about a resource it can be a huge problem....

Yup, I've encountered this problem, too. REAL pain in the butt when you're playing the Vikings and you just want your Berserkers to raze the cities they capture instead of keeping them ...

Any word on this being fixed in the forseeable future?

I've never seen it take more then 2 turns. In one of the LAN games I played I found that it took 2 turns of playing before the cities die, but if you load the game it will forget the order to disband.

maybe the bug is just with the option that tells you how long it takes, but something is not working properly...
