Has anyone out there been able to successfully install the patch to v. 1.1 for CIV 2 TOT on a Windows ME machine? I just got a great new top 'o the line PC, but what the heck good is it if I can't play any multi-player CIV?!? :-(
The patch reports no problems during installation, but when I actually get back into the game it still shows v1.0.0. I've even tried uninstalling CIV2 and re-installing from the original CD before applying the patch, but to no avail.
Anyone have any expert advice for this one?

P.S. I've emailed Microprose/Hasbro tech support but they haven't gotten back to me in a week! So much for timely customer service...
