Glitched interface?

So I was trying to install some mods (mainly the Community Patch) and now I have this weird glitch that won't let me interact with anything. I've wiped the mods by deleting the folder in the My Games folder and by unsubscribing from all workshop items. However, my game's still corrupted by this bug somehow.

  I can't select units; The unit doesn't show the options bar on the left and it doesn't show an animation of me selecting it.

• 
  When I settle a city (having to press "B"), the city screen isn't functional and the overview is a complete mess.

• 
  When I hover over a tile I get no info on what it is.

I can access the units and city correctly when I install the enhanced UI mod, but I still can't hover over tiles and see what they are. I would like to be able to tell what resource is what and if something's a lake or an ocean.



Please help as soon as possible!

Have you tried revalidating your game files through Steam?

Check C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC for a folder called UI_bc1. If it's there, deleting it will restore the vanilla UI.

Revalidating didn't work, but deleting the UI folder fixed it! Thank you!
