Is it possible to simulate turns, like.. let the AI take over until a certain year?

If you have the cheat code on. I think it is Ctrl-X and it asks for a number of turns.

edit I always end getting wiped out when I do this.

Open the Civilization.ini file and change
CheatCode = 0
to
CheatCode = chipotle

There is a link to it called Civ4Config in the Beyond The Sword folder.

That's weird. I changed it but still nothing when I press ctrl x. I restarted and everything

Ctrl-Shift-Q brings up a shortcuts popup, which iirc says what the shortcut for autoplay is.
