Well, I suppose it might be a repeat due to most people having the "mods not working" problem in civ5 at some time or another. 
But anyways, I downloaded some maps, checked the green circle, (and it showed they were loaded in the next screen) but when I try to select one of these downloaded maps, only one of them is ever available.
So I checked in the mods folder to see if they simply weren't unzipped, as with nation mods (only gotten colonial legacies ones so far..). But nope, they were unzipped and everything. I checked to see if the format was different between the map that does work and the ones that don't. But there isn't a difference there either,
"name of map(.#).modinfo", "name of map.civ5map".
Is there a fix ?, not enough info ?, available checklist ?
