SGOTM 15 - Misfit Gypsy Nuts

GPP Update:

Culture

GPP

The order we want from here is:

T210: Kyoto. (2000)
T213: Bombay (2200). ~87% GA.
T219: Vijay (2400).
T226: Agra (2600).
T232: Varanasi (2800).
T235: Kyoto (3000).
T238: Delhi (3200 or 3300??) ~76% chance GA.

If Bombay produces a GA at those high odds, then we shouldn't need the final GA from Delhi. This means, our victory date could be T236. If Bombay doesn't work out for us, then our victory will be pushed out to T239.

:goodjob: Ronnie1. I'm just glad that Liz's stack took out GK as we know where her stack was going before the war!! :)

Yes, after Kyoto has produced the next GA, Bombay can go -:food: for a turn or two to slightly improve the odds.

Kyoto beating Bombay won't happen naturally: we need to temporarily speed up Kyoto and slow down Bombay. Simplest way to do this is to immediately hire one more artist in Kyoto (slowly losing food) for a total of 9, and fire one of the ones in Bombay for a total of 6.

Then after Kyoto pops, Bombay can assign as many artists as it can and spend all the extra food it has been accumulating. Don't starve it though, we'll wait until closer to the end for that.

@C63 thought you said the AI was bad at war. ;) Liz did us a big favour... Just wondering what her stack was doing near us though. Perhaps we might have been a target very soon.. ;)

Not sure whose up but unless something very bad happens which we can't forsee it should be a case of manipulating the artist specs as per AJs plan and pressing enter.

With all the wars going on we only have to fear HC/Mansa team (hopefully) who are still wheeoh and we can negate that by begging 1 gold approx 12 turns before were due to go legendary. They would still need time to reach Delhi/Kyoto so we should be safe in that time. Obv any sighting of a stack thats the time to beg as well.

Thanks for letting me know.

We are good to go, who is up?

The roster order originally

Conquistador63 =
Ronnie1 =
sleepless =
McArine =
adrianj =
Grifftavian =
Ozbenno =
da_Vinci =

mc-red = AWOL

I have totally lost track of where we are though, mostly because of RL issues.

I know I just played. ;)
I think Griff played before me.

Anybody WANT to play next?

Well I'm ok to play some turns in a few hours though would stop if anything nasty happens.

Wouldn't have much of a PPP though. ;)

All cities bar Kyoto/Bombay to build wealth.

Great Artist plan as per Aj... Adjust artists so Kyoto comes before Bombay.

Refuse all requests to stop trading/join wars.

Watch out for HC/Mansa stacks.

Press enter and watch the AI battle it out.

Sounds good to me. Good Luck!!!!

I say go for it sleepless!

Just need to make the adjustments to Kyoto and Bombay as noted in the spreadsheet.

Side note, our exploring worker was killed near Mongol borders in the NE, our sentry warrior in the far north was killed also, but GK is at war with Hammy also so no troops coming from that direction.

Just had a quick look at the save and just need to adjust Delhi to more artists to get 87gpp per turn. -1 in Bombay and +1 in Kyoto to match AJs graphs so things looking ok.

Will play in about 2 hours time. Any AP vote will be to declare on GK. Rather than wealth from Palit will carry on building a few units. Alternating cats/musket/pike.

Next tech after gp will be Optics to net the whales then towards rep parts/rifles.

In addition to the GP considerations, if possible see what MM you can do that would help improve Bombay's culture. For a T236 victory it looks like Bombay might be the bottleneck. It is priority #2 after ensuring Kyoto pops first though...

Good luck!

Well played the turns though might have mucked up the mm a little bit. On the plus side got the GA from Bombay... :)
