Mod Issues

Hello, I have been having issues downloading any mods. I can subscribe to the mod and it's in the list of mods when I subscribe. However when I try to pick the scenario from the list of maps, I cannot find it anywhere. This also applies to the mods I create. I create the mod and upload it to the mod workshop. I find it, I subscribe, and I choose it but when trying to pick the map out of the map list, nothing is there. What do I need to do ? I am very frustrated Thanks
