Scaling imported game models in blender 2.49

Which export script? Highly unlikely in any case I would have thought. Post a blend file ?
Here is what happens: I import an improvement model from the game in blender, edit its position and scale, export it. When I test it in the game, the model has new position but scale is the same as it was before editing . I use Deliverator's Blender scripts.

Ctrl+A to apply scale and rotation then save should do it.
