How to make 2 mods distinct

If one mod is an edited copy of another mod, is there a way to make both mods run at once?

If you've just made a couple changes to an existing mod, you can just change the mod ID in the .modinfo file of your edited version. Just change any character to another hexadecimal character (i.e., 0-9, A-F).

If you've made the mod in ModBuddy, then you can hit the "New" button next to the Mod ID display to generate a new random one.
