Heavy Jungle Starts

I like jungles. The fact that they are on plain tiles annoys the crap out of me, though.

I have G+K, so I use the Sacred Path tactic also. Low production, okay growth, decent culture in the early game. I try to get a settler quickly.

One advantage to having your capitol surrounded by jungle is the slowing of enemy incursions. Ideally, I try to be on a hilly jungle with maybe 1 or 2 more hilly jungles in the area to set up some ranged defenses - thus fending off larger armies with a small force.

Used with Trading Posts, they can give 2 food, 3 science and 2 gold. Not bad in late game.

Realy depends if there are at least a couple of good production tiles around. I had zero-hammer starts. I reroll those.
