So I have over 700 hours in and just finished my first game. I always seem to think I have the result figured out and start another.
Do you always finish, sometimes or rarely?

I generally finish games, if for no other reason than an achievement

I used to bail out of games halfway through. Then I started finishing them.

I end a game when it becomes clear that I have no chance of scoring any Victory Condition most of the time. Then I go do something else while grumbling to myself about how its the game's fault it all went wrong. Later I admit it was my bad, and I Start a New Game

When it seems fairly clear what the outcome will be, I tend to move the game into my "Finish Later" directory and then six months later delete it. I enjoy the first 100 turns more than the next 100 and them more than the next. Although Civ V stays more interesting for longer than the earlier Civ games did, I think.
