Help scenarios don't load

When ever i try to load a scenario It locks up and i have to reboot.
I have PTW v1.21
Please help

How long time do you wait? Some scenarios take a long time to load, especially on slower computers. We're talking 20 minutes here. The save games from scenarios doesn't take this long though. So, make a pot of tea, read a book, and check the computer once in a while.

i wait then i press control-alt-delete and it says civ is not responding.

Nvm i got it to work.
I left it on when i was eating dinner and when i came back it was working.
