Hotseat + Internet Co-op Possible?

Hello!

Is there a MP mode where you can have a local hotseat + play internet Co-op?

Situation: My daughter wants to play Civ with me, while we Co-op with the family on the other side of the country in real time.

Hmm, the easiest way I can think of is GMR, but then every player needs a seperate steam account, and I'm asuming you and your daughter are sharing a copy of Civ?

Alternatively you can just do a regular hotseat game and email the save file to your family, the old-fashioned Play-by-Email.

This interests me as well. My girlfriend and her sister both have Civ 5, but their Internet often cannot handle both of them being online simultaneously. If there was a way that they could share a computer, that would allow both of them to play more regularly. In this case, they do both have steam accounts.

It looks like it is not doable.
