I'm new to Civ IV...

I must have pressed some key, but my game is "PAUSED". My game is DEAD.

I have no idea how to get my game back....

can anyone help?

First, I think we need to clarify what game you're playing.

You said CIV IV, but this is the CIV Revolution forum.

If it's actually Civ Rev he's talking about, the game automatically pauses when the controller battery is dead, but that you should have noticed.

If you're playing Civ IV, you probably hit the "Pause" button on your keyboard.
