Screen black with mouse cursor after opening movie

Have the exact same problem.
Now, when I minimize something weird happens. The Civ menu actually shows up and if I click on it it goes into the game, but the game runs terribly. If I click on the Civ tab on the bottom bar the game goes back to its blackscreen.

When I verify the game cache in Steam it notes one file missing and then downloads it. I've verified twice and it has done the same thing both times.

That is for trying to run in DirectX10/11. DirectX 9 works just fine.

I Have the same problem, but I noticed it works if you run it in windowed mode. Fullscreen doesn´t work for some reason
