Ok, let's say a certain someone aquired Civ 5 BnW through less than official means, because that certain someone is a useless 19-year old that does not have an income and won't ask his parents to pay for his Steam. Now that certain someone has a lot of modding ideas and some knowledge in programming, but can't get Modbuddy to work. Is there a way to work around the whole "lack of steam key" thing?
seriously though, I know pirating is wrong, I think Firaxis really earned the game price here, and I am sincerely willing to buy the game as soon as I get a job, but at the same time I know how fast modding communities can grow cold, and I wanted to jump in as fast as I could.
