Ability to create maps

My idea is the following: intil the discovery of Sailing (or Map Making like in previous civ games) your civ wasn't able to create and use maps, so the "Revealed territory, not currently visible", don't know if there's another expression for it, that's the designation in the game manual, would fall back to fog of war unless you have a unit in there.

Not a big change but I like the notion that your civilization is learning, one step at a time.

Could be. It also could work with Writing instead of Sailing in the present technological tree in civ v.
