I often did these experiments in vanilla Civ (like getting mech inf by 1600year is fun) but now I'm bored and will just say what I could get in BNW. Lets see who can do it quicker on other difficulties/conditions.
Mine is not record at all this time. I did all three at around 205-210 turns on quick speed. Since i went for space victory initially, i think that it is possible to win cultural or diplo victory at around 190 turn, as well as improve space victory record as well.
What I did and what I had not:
- 6 civ pangea, quick speed, king
- no barbs, no wars
- no selling resources for gold
- several RAs
Of course at emperor it would be harder, but it is not fun cause AI simply has more production and you have to exploit his tactical war ******ness.
I'm more interested in an isolated victories when there is not many other factors that are free from exploit or interference.
Feel free to post your fastest wins.
Edit: New cultural victory is strange. I had not done anything (except building science/production wonders) towards it till around 130 turn. I had literally 0 tourism by then. By turn 180 i had ~100 tourism with hotels and by around 205 i had 900+ tourism that ecuated to 2500 influence to other civs while they barely had 200 culture per turn at most. After I won a culture victory I was able to reach dominant culture in 8 turns. For 8 turns same amount as for 200 turns. These end-game tourism spikes are incredible.
