spiral minerat producing no gold

i have built the spiral minaret but on the city screen it says that it is producing no gold, my state religion is christianity which is present in the city with the spiral minaret and several of my other cities have christian temples and monastries, can anyone tell me why it isn't producing gold?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's because that wonder is not in this game.
