Sid Meyers newest railroad game has .nif files that are compatable with Civ 4.
For example, I have grafted a new worker from a Railroads! engineer.

Although the unit doesn't animate quite correctly, it shows that art content can be pulled from Railroads! into Civ 4.

The most usefull looking available art is in the category of industrial/modern buildings. There are may different city and industrial structures to be worked with.

You don't feel like buying Railroads! to try this out? Download the Demo then.

It includes enough art files for you to get a feel for how they can be used.
They are packed with the same utility as civ4 art files.

Any industrial era modder should take a look at what is available there.

And hey, the demo is fun too.

That's pretty cool. Sounds like there'll be plenty of good art available in a coming mod...

i was wondering if it will be compatible - i heared that railroads will use the same engine as civ4 - so probably the graphics types should be the same :)

ands good news that the demo will work fine for ripper artists - i'm downloading the demo now :) and as i thought animations would be probably crappy but there will be a bunch of static .nifs :)

good news :)
