When do you quit a game?

Also, regardless of the other factors turn 300 is about the time when it is abundantly clear whether or not I'm going to outstrip the AI and win handily or it'll be close. I often quit around this time if I'm sure I'm going to win. Maybe that's what he meant?

It's exacly what I meant. :goodjob:

I nearly always play on standard/standard. Rarely after T300, I have enough motivation to click «Next turn». Mainly because, I try to improve my play for GOTM and HoF.So, I won like danaphanous said. Or, I loose and know why.

Sometimes, I push to T350, never after, or I don't remember. Cause, I want to end this crappy strat I thougth wonderful (last Full Piety - Byzantum - Immortal - SV). Or to see how AI use a nuke on Deity (and I don't yet see that).

Never. I play to the bitter end, but I don't bother making friends. I am always ready to declare war and wipeout my enemies (every A.I.).
