Should BE be nested under Civ5?

Now that the newness is wearing off, can BE be nested under Civ5 (like Colonization is nested under Civ4)? This seems like a logical order of things. BE is a stand alone game using the Civ5 engine the same that Colonization is a stand alone game using the Civ4 engine. Forum participation in BE seems to be tapering off now as well.

Considering that Civ BE has had more posts in the last 7 months than Colonization has had in the last 7 years, that seems to be premature to me.

We're likely to stick with the official designation of things, whereby Beyond Earth is a completely separate game from Civ5, but Colonization is explicitly part of Civ4. You are of course free to think that Beyond Earth really should be considered part of Civ5, but the fact remains that it isn't officially designated as such.

Is starships! Appropriate under be?

Perhaps not in the long run, as it isn't a Civ game for starters. But given its direct links with BE and its newness, we figured that's currently the best place for it.

Because it is a completely new game engine?...or wait...no...actually it is designed using the Civ5 engine as a stand alone game much like Colonization was designed as a stand alone game using the Civ4 game engine.

I accept that they were marketed differently, even if the development followed a similar model (Vanilla, 2 expansions, then a stand alone game reusing the existing engine).
