I'm content with just playing as Rome in place of Italy. But I guess it would be cool too.
I'm surprised that the Zulus have yet to be implemented, they've always been a staple civ.
I also voted for Portugal; but I bet they'll be in Brave New World, if they're going to have Brazil. That's like having the USA without England.

Two more civs were confirmed by Dennis Shirk at a Q&A session today: Portugal, led by Maria I, and The Zulu, led by Shaka.

Will do. Not entirely sure about what choices will be included, though. Excited to see some more variety now that most frontrunners are either in or out.
I picked other because there's one civ above all that I would love to see in the game and that is a Scottish civ. I come from Scotland and if I could actually play it in game would be amazing.
There leader would probably be "Mary queen of Scots"
They would have a bonus in tech (seeing as we made the TV, phone and steam engine etc)
And many other things would apply.
The only thing is Scotland only has 4 citys in it so... Yeah
