The movement bug where a bomber rejects to follow your orders and flies in a different direction using an automatic "go to" command just occured in my game. The bug seems to be known for years and is described in more detail for example in this thread:

However, I just found out a little trick that I didn't read about in any of the threads describing this phenomenon: This bug can be prevented by using the NUMPAD keys instead of the mouse for movement (to confirm this I reloaded the game a few times and flew the exact same route either using the mouse or NUMPAD)
