"MSVCR71.dll was not found"

I got my copy of the game from direct2drive. It worked fine oon my old comouter, but when I tryed to install it on the new one I got a measge saying "This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I've ew-installed, and re-downlaoded multiple times, but still no luck.

what do I do?

Just look for it on google. Type it in and click on the first link. Download it then extract the files. Then drag MSVCR71.dll into C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 and it should work. After that i got a similar message looking for MSVCP71.dll and I repeated the progress and it worked.
