LAN - Resolving Host

Anyone able to get LAN play to work. Running the steam copy and everytime I try to connect to a hosted game it gets stuck at "Resolving Host Information"
 
So I have two computers at home, a switch (NOT A ROUTER - No firewalls etc) between them, internet, two steam accounts, etc. I can join each others games fine Internet wise - but LAN will not work period. Hangs on retrieving host information.

Any ideas?
 
Well....I have three PCs we are trying to play on (via LAN). Using one copy of the game we can;t get past the "resolving host information" screen. But when we try two machines, and two different steam accounts (each with a separate copy of the game), it works fine. So...really...first Civ EVER to not allow LAN play with a single copy?!?!?!

It seems, that even in offline mode your name is the same, as in Steam. So you can't have several you in 1 game.
If you create game and then someone is joining, you can see the message, that "name" joined, but it is the same name.
