I apologize if this had already been answered, but i could not find anything about it.

The Magna Carta says : Courthouses produce culture.

My question is: How much culture? and is it like temples and cathedrals where it's pop-based, or like wonders where it's just +3 or whatever?

I've been wondering this myself. I *think* it has something to do with population, because when I built it in a large uncivilized city I was back up to sophisticated a couple turns later, which is a large jump. If it was a set value I don't think it would have been that effective.

My halfway educated guess is that it functions just like a temple - 1 culture per population.

Easy way to test is to build the MC and build courthouses in two diff-sized cities and look at the culture changes.

Magna Carta : All courthouse belonging to the owner produce +1 Culture per population, in addition to their normal function.

so they act as a duplicate for a temple.
