Furious, Perpentach Paced back and forth around the throneroom. His mind a tumultuous mealstrom of wild thoughts.
"AAAaaRgHHH! Those revolting Elohims! How could creation allow the existence of such foul treacherous creatures!"
"They must be destroyed!! NOW!!! NOW!!! "
"But we must admit that buying the service of orcs has its merit!"
"THE TREACHEROUS FOOLS!!"
"Indeed, such treacherous people can be expected to do things against our interests..."
Perpentach scratches his chin .
"Such as Not dying easily!"
"Indeed, this must be considered as part of the spectrum of possibilities."
"Treacherousness is in other words, a quality!"
"A very nice line of thought! "
Perpentach sits on the throne.
'If we were in their place, we would count on the multitude of garrisoned archers to make such a possibility more likely. "
"BUT THEY MUST DIE NOW!!!"
"Or else they might stay alive longer..."
"And did i mention that those Pachyderms are also in the way?"
"Yes, and horses really hate them."
"Thats it! Horses!! "
And this is how Perpentach decided he needed horses to defeat the vile lady Ethne.
Of course, something had to be done now in order to have her acknowledge her inferiority, or else Perpentach feared he would lose his sanity.
He decided to request a tribute.
Now that Ethne was properly humiliated, Perpentach felt a bit better. Apparently the Overlords were happy with him for they sent forth an unexpected gift!
Some people feared a curse from the mysterious boat but Perpentach quickly reminded them that curiosity was a chief quality. And the reward was great!
The boat was indeed a top notch Gallleon and onboard was a group of mace wielding lunatics, who promptly joined our righteous cause. Their lust for war and destruction would be a great aid. Acknowledging the gift from the gods, Perpentach was all too happy to order the construction of a temple of the overlords.
Perpentach decided the kingdom was too small so he proceeded to train some settlers and sent a group of hunters to prepare the terrain. The surprise was not very big to learn that the previously cleansed forest was now host to a new Orcish fort... Perpentach dispatched the newly trained adepts on site to help control those stubbord pests.
In the meantime St.Augustine published a work about the most advanced nations on Erebus. It was no big surprise to learn that the imaginative Balseraph was to most advanced people.
A proper Horseman task force was now one step closer.
While the Adepts were baiting the Orcs with some puppets, we were surprised by the group of lunatics who were suddenly struck by a blind rage and charged the orchish forces. The other troops offered some prior softening to the lunatics target to make sure they would win, and they did.
The construction of land improvements continued near the city of Hexan. As the newly build fishing boat was sailing to destination, Perpentach was struck with the thought that this city would make an Excellent Mage disctrict!
The city of
Argenteria nasty evil goblins was founded, and the stockpile of stone was used to immediately built a carnival in it.
Not long before, our hero hunter was given the care of a specially trained parrot, with the help of the bird some more wild land was revealed.
And we somehow meet Auric Ulvin and his not so impressive empire.
As a part of the continued preparation for the war against the Elohim, Perpentach had ordered the researching of warfare methodology. He advocated the possibility of building a mighty warrior disctrict in Jubilee, where could be built a magnificiant statue called, Form of the Titan.
Perpentach had a while before sent the Galleon do a scouting run in the nearby seas, but some careful manoeuvrings was necessary to negotiate around the sea monsters.
And some new research projects were completed. Perpentach envisioned an army of lance wielding horsemen breaking through the ranks of garrisoned Elohim archers.
He also imagined them being softened by fireballs so he ordered such a spell to be researched.
Then, without us noticing anything, those crazy lunatics went berserk again and charged the peaceful pachyderm that lived near nasty evil goblins. Fortunately they killed it and gained a level. Which turned them further into attack specialists.
Motivated by the exemple, our hunters also went on a pachyderm hunting run further to the south.
We found the city of Gaudium near the pachyderm hunting ground. Then our adepts practiced their spellcasting on the second pachyderm and our hunters captured it. We now have an elephant in our rank.
Then something extremely scary happened. Perpentach sent the hero hunter on a boat trip to scout the landmass at the south. However, immediately upon landing he was attacked by a group of specters as well as a pride of lions. As a Hero, he was awarded a second chance and could bail out. The whole thing made him gain a level. With a lesson well learned, he took the boat back home for the time being.
Leaving a group of recently tamed lions in place as they could not make it to the boat.
Thats it, 20 turns completed.
Lets talk a bit about city specialization.
I vote for Noble-Warrior districts in Jubilee, I vote for Mage district in Hexan ( And this should be the next thing we build there)
and i vote for Merchant district in Gaudium, the last city i built. I think this city should specialize in wood production. We really need to have some wood production. I was building a camp there to provide some food before the border expended, but in the longer run, i think it screams for lumbermills.
Also, i spread OO to two other cities using zealots.
