The map for this game is by Rik Meleet. The focus is on the early economic development.

The Game
The game starts at the beginning this time - 4000 BC.

Joan d'Arc of the French has decided it's time to settle down and start building a nation. Her philosophy for the development of the nation is simple: the more people working on a particular piece of work, the faster it will be completed. She has sworn an oath that she will make the entire world envy her workforce.

The Objective
The objective of the game is to have as many workers as possible by 1000 BC. Only native workers count. The game ends at 1000 BC (turn 80), and the player with the most workers win.

Rules:
The rules are the standard rules we use in the COTM competition.

sounds like fun. I will it squeeze it somewhere in, between g(c)otms civ 3 & 4

The spoiler thread is up now. Remember to post your stories :)

Jumping in for the first time I miss a screenshot of the starting position.
I'd love to do some planning right now but I'm at work

These games might be fun as I usually lose interest in xotms in later turns.

Less than 24 hours after the submissions close and you're already anticipating the results ;)
They'll come soon if no issues arise.
