Germany: Why so much hate for Germany? Does no one else like it?

Korea: This theme just doesn't sound right. Can't really explain how.

It occurred to me I hadn't voted for England's war theme yet. It's catchy, and works pretty well in-game.

Now it's Germany's turn. It sounds so much more subdued than it should.

Ethiopia : not awful, but really not menacing or sorrowful enough for a war theme, it's just ind of there, so I don't think it deserves to be above the average.

Persia : One of the very best in the game. The start is great, then it changes it up in the middle and becomes even more awesome. Really amazing theme all around.

+1 to Venice. I really like this calm and sort of sorrowful theme - while it's not my all-time favourite it doesn't deserve to go out this soon in my opinion.

-3 to Egypt. It's just worse than all the other war themes - it does sound Egyptian to my European ears but that's not good enough for me.

Man, I completely forgot that Japan was still here. Well, I'm not a fan of their War theme, so there my vote will go. At least Germany won't be get downvoted all the time by me.

Meanwhile, I'll be upvoting the ones I like, and wouldn't mind being higher. Like Arabia's fantastic theme.

Indonesia, alongside the Zulu and Brazil set the precedent for having extremely tough to beat themes. Indonesia in this round gets my vote for the use of classical traditional instruments and it's seamless blend with western Orchestra.

Venice doesn't feature Vivaldi. Such a wasted opportunity. I could bathe in a bucket of tears of disappointment from Civfanatics users that were thoroughly miffed by such an omission. I choose not to though - instead I want to make sure the Venetian War theme sinks faster than a Great Galleass on 1 HP.

Poland: One of my favorite civs, and one of my favorite war themes. Love the epic feel to it.

Japan: The very beginning is ok, but after that it sounds like someone just whaling on a bunch of random Asian instruments. Has no real melody.

Sweden: The use of the violins is superb, and it overall feels like a really dark and heroic war is about to begin.

France: Always felt rather dull, given that it's the might of the Napoleon coming to annhilate you. The Can Can sounds more comedic than anything.
