Patagonia has long since dropped all it's cultural ties. our history is nothing more to us then weakness holding us back form progression, today we practice communism pure communism at it's finest, and have no wish to sully our selves in other's affairs such as thou.

As a pro-tip, there will be 3 types of powers. Major power is 10ASP baseline. Regional is 7 ASP baseline. Small is 5 ASP baseline. Minor is 3 ASP baseline. Stuff like former Granadine island colonies would be Minors. NPC's won't necessarily have the same level of development as PC's, or possibly have more. Finally, in Update Zero I will hand out bonuses like Economic Strength, Bonus, Approval Rating, Techs, and even banked ASP or ASPT as I see fit.

I would like to also remind all Magic is available, but heavily marginalized by technology due to ethical and moral issues, as well as relative inefficiency.

OK, the "historic" colonies have been developed. There are five in total: Xayma (Jamaica), Nahual (RL Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua), Gaiqa (northern Venezuela), Qauba (Cuba) and Borinqa (Puerto Rico). The first three gained independence peacefully, the last two after a struggle, not as intense as the American War of Independence.
NOTE: traded Puerto Rico for Florida

Nuova Venezia/merciary
-Hispaniola and Puerto Rico are core region.
-Has "significant" influence in either Quaba (Cuba) or Xayma (Jamaica). Talk to Milarqui.
-Has an extra 1 ASP, due to the 1 free UU ASP
-the Guardia are in Squadrons. And I have to warn you they are pretty weakish on fleet-fleet battle. You'd probably cut down on commerce raiding really well though, they'd likely provide high damage/cost ratio too, as you develop rockets and torpedoes.

Minsk Republic / talonschild
-Zealots sound like 2 Brigades (for larger masses) or 4/6 Regiments (if they focus on clandestine operations). Although they sound like Marines Elite (3 Brigades), the heavy vehicle emphasis and training makes me lower their size a bit.
-There's lots of land in Russia. What do you think would be the chance of, say, a sympathetic Ukrainian state?

-You need to make some changes
-rename multipurpose carrier something! Please!
-Are the MPCV's individual ships, or small carrier groups? If the former, each ASP buys 10 Ships. If the latter, each ASP buys 4 Groups. Warning: if you buy them in ships, they'd be somewhat vulnerable to direct fire or submarine attack. You'd have more firepower though.
-Personally assuming MPCV's as supercharged Pocket Carriers rather than speedy Super Carriers. Inform me if this is not the case.

Post edited here. The Lightning Cruisers occupy the blurry line between the two categories that you mentioned, being able to pass decently for either one, but I can sort them as your first category if it is more convenient for you.

And also, Central Plains, Rockies, and Cali should have a smattering of Associated Nations. Texas can be an apartheid-like, Nasri-derived Shari'a-ruled Sultanate which oppresses its natives.

That's determined in Update Zero, after Deadline 2. You probably got most of it except for Florida, and maybe/probably Louisiana (goes to "Texas").

I can see the "Texas" antagonist being considered morally lower than the Free Nations, but provide a greater degree of access to the western world. (Controls the Mississippi and the Plains, so closer ports for the central Associates.)
 
NPC mods have been tried on the IOT forums, havent gone very well in some cases, but I wouldn't mind trying it here.

The Mountain Brigades are intended to be units that, while elite, are still fairly numerous, like the US Marines or Airborne troops.

Perhaps 2 or 3 brigades for 1 ASP?

I've also edited in research/tech stuff.
 
I filled out the free spending, I just want to know if I did it correctly, or if i still have like 15 ASP for me to spend (because I am currently assuming my 15 tech for Rockets is part of the spending)

I'd like to take the first option please. I would still like to be bullying New Zealand/Some other neighboring NPC, but if it isn't possible then I won't be too upset. :)

Supreme Leader Robert Menzies has announced the formation of the Communist International. All Communist/Socialist/Pseudo-Communist nations are allowed to join and have been invited to the organization, with its headquarters in Canberra. Fake Commies (OOC: Basically everyone preaching “Communism” that Australia doesn’t like /OOC) and Capitalist Pig-Dogs need not apply.

The goal of the Communist International, or ComIntern, is to provide a place for Nations that support the rights of the workers and the peoples to peacefully resolve their differences and to allow said nations to cooperate in overthrowing the bourgeois once and for all. It also acts as a Mutual Defensive Pact, so Capitalist Pig-Dogs will think twice before they try and stop our revolutionary power.
