C2C - Units

Currently im test playing China on Large map/Warlord dif./Marathon and 6 civs and what I see is that units are soo cheap. My 3 biggest cities can spam 2-3 best units in turn. After few turns I have huuuge army and everything start slowing down. But for more I mostly need that amount of units because city and fort defenses are very strong.

I know this subject was grinded in past but I think we still need re-think unit costs, strength and defense.
Size matters is the partial answer to this problem and as we know this option has some troubles too.
 
If you feel Size Matters has troubles, I would be interested to hear the feedback. Most of its 'problems' I believe have been resolved though some deeper AI is still in order.

TBH, the fact that units themselves may be built so quickly is one of the things I love about the mod. It goes a long ways towards allowing nations to react to invasions with an ability to put up a fight fairly quickly and given the cost and volume of buildings, cities don't seem to ever get much time to just sit around building wealth or research. Invasion plans don't take so long to prepare and thus there's not such a large chance (on any speed) that if you take the time to build an effective force you'll find you need to upgrade them by the time it comes together.

I'm deep into the classical in a test run though so I can't speak for farther into the game yet.

I made them but TB didn't want to review units again so I'm waiting for the new version...

I did the Texas Ranger some time ago, but the horse keeps coming out in team colour, and we could not find a way to fix it.

I did an Oceanian canoe unit that had a graphic problem and I was likewise unable to proceed with (Kora-Kora I think).

I'm testing this unit now. Will you be doing/can you do a button for it soon? I would just like to skip the hassle of making a button if it is to be replaced immediately.

Easiest way, upload unit with placeholder button (or without button at all) and Ill create button ASAP.

Have the Modern Infantry upgrade to this too.

Um, do you mean change Modern Infantry to upgrade to this, or add this as an option for Modern Infantry to upgrade to? (I'm guessing the latter but please confirm)

ETA: Any suggestions for the Chrome Infantry animation? I've tried marines, rifleman & oromo. Marines is the closest so far, but they all put the gun away to the right of the model.

I suppose there's more I can try, but suggestions would be appreciated.
