DS connectivity with other consoles?

Any one knows if you can play against people on Xbox 360 and PS3 using your DS? That would be so awesome! I hope it won't be DS-DS only. I can already imagine myself playing against a friend in my living room...

on the other hand, if the Wii version were brought back into production...you could play against Wii owners with your DS...if Firaxis was in the mood to program that

the only cross platform fun is GOTW.

And that's not *truly* cross-platform. You can just compare your results with others.
