Stupid question if I import the US DS version will it work on my UK DS?

I cannot wait until 29/08/08 in the UK for the DS version. I have Civ Rev on the 360 but I'm on hols before the release date and I'll need drugs to not play this game while I'm away or a ne girlfriend!!!

To my best knowledge the DS is completely region-free, so yeah, you should be able to play a US game on a UK DS. I imported my DS from Korea and all my EU bought games work perfectly on it.

A Space Oddity is correct, DS is region free.

Except it is "temporarily out of stock" currently, my dear compatriot.

Honestly, I'm surprised it is cheaper in Canada; everything seems to be more expensive here when compared to the US.

Just ordered from the US cost me about £40 including tax and shipping.

Getting it in the ear now from the misses for buying it for the holiday. Is her company not good enough? Simple answer is yes I love Sid more than her

My suggestion would have been "Try before you buy" for this DS version, but I know you did not ask for that.

It should work. Ive got DS Lite bought from Germany, games bought from Germany & Finland & Canada and everyone of those games (~15) works fine. DS is region free. Only those boxes where games are in are different in different regions (US/Europe). The material itself and pics are different kind.
