Hi guys,
I just posted my peaceful Piety Diplomatic Victory guide to the Strategy subforum here on civfanatics. It's a deep read, covering various diplo mechanics and strategies related to everything from early religion spread to ideological manipulation to how to play your science game from an era or two behind the AI. The strategy is tested through Deity difficulty, and should work on lower difficulties as well. IMO, this is the most secure path to a peaceful diplomatic victory on Deity since the BNW fall patch greatly increased delegate requirements (it is now impossible to win on first vote, even with all city states and host).
Good if you're trying to break into a higher difficulty (you don't really have to be good at early game growth or science or anything like that), or if you just want to try something different.
Let me know what you think (in the other thread), and thanks for reading!
