Why is there no Rome 2 patches???

Am I literally insane or is the only patch available for rome 2 'macpublicbeta'

I hate steam with a passion as I get alsorts of problems with it while using Windows 8 64 bit. I have to run rome 2 without steam just to get the game to load.

I have been trying to download some patches and it seems the only way to do this is via steam and only the above patch is listed.

Even the rome 2 official website does not contain any links to these patches just information on what is in them.

Can someone help please?

As you said in your post, you have to run Steam in order for it to patch.
