Pachacuti has declared war on !

I received this notification the turn after I liberated the CS Manila from the Russians. It just so happened that this was Catherine's last city.

Has anyone else encountered this??

I've seen this before. Can't remember what happened after though.

I've seen it before. Typically, I've asked someone to go to war with me against a third party, and they ask for 10 turns to get ready. At some point, I go ahead and attack early. If I wipe out the target civ, then my ally goes ahead and DoWs the eliminated civ when turn 10 arrives.

so in this case I guess that the civs in question were already anticipating to attack Russia. The next turn after the one I mentioned Theodora did the same thing... Napoleon went to war at the same I did with Russia...
