Please help me i just have buy Gods & Kings today, and when i try a play a civ 5 game

I get this here



can some here help me
 
Any1 with any kind of suggestion/solution ?

Getting this last 2 days constantly.. :mad: Ati 4870 gfx.

ps. This only happens to me when i've selected a unit and then right click to the map somewhere in order to move it.

ok, my updated news about this error :

I didn't solved it but i managed to reduce the number of getting this error drastically. I simply put Anti-Aliasing to OFF. (Always launching the game with DX10/11 support). I lowered the gfx details to medium as well.

Yesterday had it only once during a 8h gameplay. Today didnt have it @ all yet. Before ive done all this, i was getting it every 15mins.
 
Hi Everyone,

For me, this render error problem (which was driving me mad) was resolved by manually adjusting the fan speed on my GPU, via the Nvidia performance section in Nvidia Settings (which I had to download). I change the fan speed to 60% (rather than the default 30%) when I play, and turn it back to auto when I'm done.

No doubt there is a much better technical fix out there. But, crashing is now extremely infrequent - rather than every 5 mins!

finally got Gods and Kings, and this is my first time playing it. And I am getting this render error all the time. This is the only game I have ever seen such a thing. I can play FSX, Skyrim, Mafia II, Mass Effect 1,2,3 and get no issues so I HIGHLY doubt it is my GPU, but rather some messed up code in the D3D11 client Fraxis put out with Civ 5.
 
For what it is worth, it seems that changing the leader screens down to "minimum", thus turning them into stills and not the moving interactive things we have come to know, solves this issue.
 
When playing Civ 5 G&K (direct x 11 max all graphics) sometimes I get a driver error (will get a screenshot of this when it happens again) I have the latest nvidia beta driver that just came out a few days ago. (note this did happen even more so with older drivers and older beta drivers). dxdiag included.

When other leaders come to me to make deals sometimes I get this driver error message and the game crashes. Also where does the game place the debug/dump file?

I usually can reload a autosave and keep going or I can lower the game graphics down on other civ leaders to low and this crash never happens.

This also happens when I play with mods and when I don't play with mods. (I usually play with http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=15667 Civ Unofficial Patch v2.0.41 and http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=16617 Gem v1.6.11 Beta)

Any ideas...?

I hit the end turn button and then I get a black screen, I can hear Hiawatha (backround sounds) wanting to trade something and hear the mouse over when moving over icons. I get this message and have to close out.

I've been getting this error window often in varing circumstances - lately it's happened in the AI turn, during movements and even in when I'm not doing anything.



It's random, as if I load up the save from the previous turn it plays fine, but when it does happen the screen goes black, the sound lags really badly, and in worse cases so does the mouse. I'm running a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with Intel i7 and nVidia graphics with 4GB RAM

The error message makes me think it's a driver issue, but I haven't been able to find anything wrong
 
Search Google for your error message. Lots of hits for Civ5. One solution that seemed to work for some is to use nVidia utilities to increase the video card fan speed (if I'm understanding correctly).
 
The specific search string I used was fgxrenderer11 present failed. That returned multiple hits.
