Polynesia DLC won't show up

So, I just bought the Polynesia DLC on Steam, and I downloaded it and everything, but when I started up Civ5, nothing was there! Not the civ, not the scenarios, nothing! I checked the mods folder, checked the "Show DLC Mods", and it wasn't there; I even checked Steam to see if I really had installed it, and I had. Does it have to do with the fact that I have G&K or something? If someone does have a solution, please don't make it complicated, please make the explanation as simple as possible, since i'm not a very tech-y person. Please help me
