Let me know if you encounter any bugs.

subscribed.

Very good work, I know its a conflicted topic on whether Aboriginees should be in the game, but if they were included this is just what I imagined.

Amazing job friend! Let me know if you want any more art etc.!

Hey, this is pretty cool. Guess I don't need to do an aborigine civ now, can focus on Ashante or someone :D

One thing I would say is the colours seem very close to the Mongols, maybe change them a bit in a later version? Other than that it's awesome.

Also, if you don't mind I might take a crack at a Lithuania map for you to use, any particular time period?

LastSword has done a good Ashanti civ already too! I'm still waiting on Ayyubids, Mughals, Maratha, Minoans and Nazca from you, haha. I expect they'll be fantastic!

For Lithuania I'm thinking either Kingdom or Grand Duchy? The leader will be Mindaugas.

Here's the icon:

Quite powerful it turned to be. ;) Congratulations on first civ.

I would choose Grand Duchy, because it sounds less trival then next kingdom.

Not too much so, I hope? I figure it can't be more OP than Poland, haha.

Been doing some work on Lithuania, UU and UB XML is done so far. I need a bit of help with the UA (I've made a thread in the main C&C section for that). I've got a few more civs planned... try and guess these:

Spoiler :

No clue on the new civs, but here's a quick mock-up I did of the Lithuania map - let me know what changes you'd like!

Spoiler :

That's fantastic! Maybe add a few embellishments here and there, but otherwise great work :D.

I need some advice on the UA:

For my next civ I want to have a UA which allows the civ to purchase missionaries and inquisitors for half the normal faith cost. I know that I can achieve this by making copies of the units in unitclassoverrides but I'm expecting to encounter an issue whereby every civ can purchase the replacement units (as happens with units purchasable by faith). Has anyone come up with a way to get around this?

Do you have a G&K version of this available? I tried playing it but apparently I have a 'missing dependency' which is, incidentally, BNW. :undecide:

EDIT: and to guess on which civs you're planning next, based on the icons... I'll guess the duchy of savoy, timurids and minoans

It should work fine in G&K, you just need to go into the modinfo file and remove the code that makes BNW a dependency.

As for your guesses, way off, haha. Though with the Timurids you're kind of on the right track for a couple of them (there's already a couple of good Timurid civs out there). There's a not so subtle hint in the icons themselves...

Oh, and here's Lithuania's UA (can be done in xml):
-'Missionaries and Inquisitors can be built or purchased with gold in addition to being able to be bought with faith'

It works great! :goodjob:
I don't know if this is a bug, but the map and Dawn of Man screens show up black. Are their images just not included, or...?

EDIT: Nope, upon looking through the art folder they are clearly included. It doesn't show up red like images do when they aren't imported into VFS, so that can't be the problem either...

Yeah I have no idea what is causing that. All of the art works perfectly on my end so I have no idea...

Edit: I've uploaded a new version with the following changes"
-Nulla Nulla now has Unit AI code for attacking
-The file on Civfanatics is now a .rar archive of the version of the mod in my Mods folder rather than the package. As the art all works fine for me I'm hoping that this will fix any of the art issues that some people have been experiencing. Let me know if this helps!

I remember the times when units not bought with faith couldn't spread religion. Was it changed?

I would probably increase the amount of penalty from Unwelcomed Evangelist for enemies (prophets as well, why not) [lua] and some kind of bonus for capturing enemy missionairy/prophet [lua].

Then I would replace Pagan Infantry with unique Shrine (sacred grove?) with uber ability called "extra pantheon". Player would be able to choose one additional bonus, which would work in the city only if there is no major religion there.[lua]

Quite weird gameplay called delay the religion, might be interesting. Why I am writing this, because I bet that building Missionaires is OP (dunno if you make them increasing cost over time yet) and beats free early prophet. You can't balance it with Poland/Babylon/Korea, because those civs are centered in buffing Science (yes, Poland as well), which is currently the most imba/investment worthy thing and they will always beat Religion centered civs in terms of easiness. Looking at Byzantium or Celts your civs are probably much better to do the same staff. Consider it balance warning :D for future.

If you are interested in my ideas, I may help you code them, not so timewasting except last.
