To begin a game:
1.Click "Mod"button.
2.Enable mods you want to use and click"Next"
3.Configuring game data, pls wait....
4.Then click "Single player"
5.Click "Setup Game"
6.Click "Start Game"

Everytime so many steps to start a game, click click and click... boring.
And even when you load a save with mods, you have to click "'Mod->Enable mods and Click Next->Configuring game data->Single Player->Load Game", so many so many steps.
Wasting so much time on meaningless things, any solution?

Solution = invest precious time to modify game scripts. Volunteers ?

Sorry BC1, i feel helpless. Cause i know nothing about scripts just a player.

Civ5 is amazing, it is a pity so good game with so unfriendly starting and loading.

I'd appreciate this too. It would be nice to have a shortcut that got you past the "Configuring game data, pls wait...", so you would at least get to the screen where you set up your new game to play. And then the ability to double-click on a saved-game and have it load up with the mods that were in use for that game.

I've never written scripts for this sort of thing. The startup menus are all Lua driven though, so it shouldn't be too hard...
