Attaching texture to mesh

Hi, I've an UV mapped mesh in blender & added the dds texture in UV map window. It shows correctly if I set textured in 3D view but, after export as nif, there is no texture branch in the nif.

Please, help me find my mistake !
 
Look at C.Rolands export tutorial, the steps how to link a texture to a mesh a described there (with pics)
 
I've an update on my progress.

Currently, after some fixes the building I converted works in game but as you can see below :




it is very dark !


How can I fix this, please ?

nifscope tutorial, page 7 and 8 (and yes it´s material property)
