I just want to reassure the Mac community that even though we have moved the GOTM on to support conquests, we will still be continuing to run a 'classic' GOTM that Mac players can continue to participate in. This was virtually non-negotiable as we moved to conquests.
The Mac community makes a great contribution to the GOTM => the proportion of active mac players who play the GOTM is much higher than that of the PC users, and we do not want to alienate those that support us!
We are also looking at the options for the global rankings so as to not disadvantage Mac players who can only compete in one of the competitions.
If you have any questions or comments about all of this, then please post them here or in the future of the GOTM thread in the GOTM forum.
