For C2C most buildings can be added to the game graphically by just including button art.

Not sure about this one "Accountant" is probably what your aiming towards but can't think of a good name. It should have a crime reduction bonus as well.

Like mentioned in the first post, feel free to make tech selection and stats, you have full control to do what is best for C2C, im more of an think tank for Building ideas and making building buttons type of person lol. As long as some make it to the game or you become inspired ill be happy.

Sure. I have not really picked out many of those. Any help would be appreciated. The worst that could happen is I have a better one. Should save me some time since I seem to spend a lot of time figuring out what icon/buttons I want to use.

Except there is evidence for seals being a precursor to writing. They marked ownership and later tags identifying contents of containers so the containers did not need to be opened. Yes they later were used to mark important documents.

Tally bones
The earliest form of note-taking known in the middle east, the tally bone dates back 30,000 years. The bones recorded lunar months which governed the ritual cycles observed by hunter gathers.

Clay Tokens
From 9000 to 3000 BCE people in the middle east used clay tokens to record commercial transactions, sealing them into clay envelopes called bullae. A token's shape symbolized either goods (animals,grain) or specific large numbers.

Stamp and Cylinder Seals
A seal was a detailed engraved image identifying the sender of a message, The seal was pressed in wet clay by stamping, or rolling in the case of cylinder seals. Such seals appeared a millenia before the development of writing.

So you are ok with cultures, units, heroes and wonders named after specific historical names but not landmarks?

I agree with Xartah: in my opinion, except from scenarios (when you have accurate historical maps/situations/nations and so on) Civ4 is a sort of parallel universe where everything happens in a way different from real life; random maps let you create your own world and your own history!!

That's why I think also the new galactic stuff should be more generical: no "mars colonization" but "colonization of a new planet"; no "mission to Alpha centauri", but "interstellar mission" and so on..

But seriously changing it to "Mission to the Highest Peak on Earth" doesn't sound as cool.
