Adam Smith's Trading Co

Does Adam Smith's Trading Co. pay for the upkeep of all economic city improvements, or just the city you built it in?

That can be a pretty penny, so I love the thing.

I never used to go for it until recently. It's one of three in the middle ages I never try to go without now (the others being the Sistine Chapel and J.S.Bach's Cathedral). When I'm a commercial civ (it's my favourite trait) I sometimes find I can sustain an 80/20 or even 90/10 tax rate in favour of science after building it

Get some banks and stock exchanges built too and watch the money start to pour in.

I think the complete list of Commericial buildings is: Marketplace, Bank, Stock Exchange, Commercial Dock, Harbor, Airport, so it should save you a lot of money on those things, depending on how many cities you have and how many of them you have in those cities.

I'm not sure if it's the most useful wonder in the game, but it's a very, very, good one. It's one of the 5 Middle Ages wonders I'll always try to get if I can (The other 4 are Sun Tzu, Leo's Workshop, Copernicus, and Newton), and none of them, with the possible exception of Leonardo's Workshop, save me nearly as much money as Smith's Trading Company does.
