The Great Kickass hotfix

Has anyone realized that in the last 24-hours, the great galleass not being able to melee attack cities seems to be fixed?

I honestly thought it was a feature, to keep it from having a cake and eating it too, but apparently it was a bug.

I'm not aware of any hotfix.

Neither am I. BNW is still fresh from the oven - it haven't been patched yet. I expect some reballancing and fixing of a few bugs by the end of the month.
