September 11th: First chapter up
In the group there are now three new threads:

September 18th: Second update up, and updates character information. Character details can be sent to me personally, or posted in Character Development in the group
September 20th: Third update up. Klansmen in-character chat made in the social group.
October 10th: Fifth update up. I apologize for the long wait in between the fourth and fifth update.
October 11th: All participants are now added to the story. The next update will be the election, and I will shortly post information on it.
October 21st: This story is pronounced dead. I do not have the time to keep on writing. I believe the way it ends, here, leaves it open for speculation, mystery, and appreciation. Thank you.
November 11th: Part II will begin in December. It is entitled Heart and Soul, and will differ greatly from the style of the first part.

About: Quickly rose to the position of 2nd in command. Helped draft the ideals and organizational structure of the Clan. Studies and practices law.
Character's Name: Shane Dewmont (Mrrandomplayer)
Date of Birth: Friday, December 13th, 1833
Place of Birth: Maryland, but mostly lived in New Mexico
Position: Grand Dragon of the Southwest
When Dewmont was 9, his family moved from Maryland to New Mexico, hoping to make profits off of the booming trade starting to increase in Santa Fe. However, a few years later, the Mexican War broke out, and in 1845, when Dewmont was just 12, both of his parents were killed by Native American raids caused by the outbreak of the Mexican-American War. After that, he made the cold-blooded promise to avenge the deaths of his parents by ensuring that every last nonwhite would be put into peonage or slavery. After that tragedy, he managed to rise to political prominence against all odds at an extremely young age, and he nearly single-handedly founded the KKK charter in the area.
About: Honorable and reserved. Seeking glory, he follows Forrest on his political and social quests.

About: Loyal and honest. After meeting Forrest early in the Civil War, the two have been best friends, and Smith enjoyed his power as his second-in-command. However, with the rise of Gordon, he now is beginning to distrust Forrest and Gordon.

Character's Name: Felix Giedd III (TheNoob) Date of Birth: August 23rd, 1832 Place of Birth: Hamburg, Prussia Desired Position: Ghoul Backstory: Felix Giedd III was the first son of a Prussian soldier from Hamburg. He has another brother named Joseph who lives in Hamburg currently. Felix Giedd III never had too much of a relationship with his father and brother, so he set sail back to America in his very late teens looking for a new life.
He arrived in North Carolina and then realized he had no real way to start himself off. He brought no money or inheritance, so he had nowhere to stay. He was welcomed in by a friendly plantation owner who saw him sitting outside of a general store. He stayed with that man, Henry Cliff, for two years until he had gathered enough money and resources to survive on his own.
Felix then moved to South Carolina near the agricultural areas of Charleston in order to establish a life. He started a cotton plantation, and hired some slaves to work for him. He then married a woman and had a son that very same year, and all was well until a slave was tired of him, and murdered his wife and son.
Felix was in an outrage, and lynched every one of his slaves, no matter who they were. This sparked a new kind of hatred inside of himself, and he set off to join a new group, the KKK. He quickly rose from the rank of Knight to Ghoul, and currently has high ambitions.

He was the son of a wealthy English sugar plantation owner in Jamaica, and moved to Charleston, South Carolina at age 23.
Character's Name: Jacques Pamplemousse (Trexeric)
Date of Birth: February 17, 1829
Place of Birth: Dijon, France
Jacques was born into the aristocratic Pamplemousse family in Dijon. Wholehearted supporters of the slave trade, Jacques' branch of the family perceived an even greater profit could be made by buying and selling slaves in America. At the age of 17, Jacques, his father (Jean-Paul Pamplemousse), and his younger brothers Horace and François moved to Louisiana looking to profit in the business.

Born to one of the wealthiest slave owning families of the South, Jonathan Lester is a man of considerable wealth and ambition. A strong believer in family, faith, and racialism, Jonathan seeks to gain greater wealth in the rich soil of Mississippi, where cotton grows quickly and land is abundant. With half of his family's wealth as their only son, he has the potential to become the wealthiest man south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Jonathan has a particularly strong conviction towards making his negroes work for him as long as possible, whipping those who do not follow his orders in any respect. He has a kinder disposition towards house negroes, but still disciplines them harshly.
About: Well-educated and aristocratic, but with a fiery anger. Seeks financial and influential gain.

NOTE: All people may vote, but those registered as a Kuklux Clan member will be exiled if you vote against the Clan's suggestion. Non-Kuklux members only have half a vote (to represent suppression). Essentially, the only way to override a Clan suggestion is either by roleplaying, or by getting a majority of the Clan to vote against the suggestion (this may require behind-the-scenes communication).
Thanks that really inspired me. Although I don't think the United States would be like that if the Confederate side won, if the KKK side took over the United States it would probably be like that.
