Well that changes things drastically. Although I shouldn't wonder if it would be even faster at Deity considering the tech pace.

Deity is obviously good for RAs and AI gold. Wonders are very hard to get and for this setting Petra was crucial, which not an easy one to snatch. So, no general statements are possible, but tommynt posted a t188 deity SV recently (although insane start too).

edit: also in the link you showed he played 3 city NC with t75ish NC which is quite late imo, especially with GL - rather get 2 city NC (buy lib in 2nd) on t60ish, much faster. Also Free Thought before Humanism would be better.

Best Civ is definitely The Shoshone (BNW). The Pathfinder gives them a technological and cultural edge at the start, the Great Expanse gives them the land of a 20-city empire with just 5 cities and the Comanche Riders are perfect for pillaging and ruining your enemies!
